BENEATH THE SKIN documentary

So this is the final product of all of our efforts this last term.

In the presentation we explained about what we based our initial ideas on and what our visual and structure inspirations was. As I have explained in older blogposts.

We also added the information we researched to inform ourselves better with tattoo community statistics. This gave us a better insight to what it is like and what kind of questions we should ask.

This is the announcement I made where I asked people for help with our documentary which was a big success. We got about 30 responses of people that wanted to help out.

Here we can see the initial structure we where going to use for our editing, but it didnt really work. After a chat with our tutor, we where adviced to make it more simple and to develop more into personal stories.

The things that helped us most during editing where these parts of the production pack, the transcripts, the shot list and the storyboard helped us have a better idea of what the best parts of our interviews where and what shots we definetly wanted in the film.

We have done our presentation after a lot of hard work and dedication. Even though we where presented with problems through every stage of the production we managed to overcome and think creatively to deliver a film that I can say I am proud of.
