Documentary TATTOO COMMUNITY

So we have decided on the tattoo community as our theme for the documentary. We started to develop our ideas and started to think about what we can reveal about this community. We had a meeting with Anne where we discussed it would be about the stories behind the ink on their skins and how this things make them part of a community.

Here are some of the main points we discussed in our meeting. After this I started contacting people that are part of this community, making notices on social media and contacting some friends. We also got to book studio G27 for Monday to interview our volunteers. In not too long I got a lot of responses from people that agreed to share their stories to us and record them, so I created a schedule and talked to them a bit about our project.

We also got to find a person that was willing to be recorded while getting a tattoo, so we got our risk assessment and paper work in order before his appointment with the tattoo shop. We have recorded this event and also an interview with him after getting his tattoo. Also, the tattoo artists in the shop where interested in our documentary and offered to help if we needed some interviews from them -This would add some interesting insight to our documentary so we will contact them soon to schedule this interviews.

This is our progress so far and we will shoot the other interviews soon.
