Visual Poem

"Five minutes are enough to dream a whole life, that is how relative time is"

So this is a project that was due a while ago but hey, here it is. I just didnt find the time to put it i¡on my blog. We where told to create a visual haiku or poem, with short clips shot with DSLRs. I am not a poet nor Im good with words but I think, this can express my overall feel around the different daytimes, and how i've used light shinning through objects to represent my mood and mind.

I found my inspiration on Mario Benedetti, an Uruguayan poet and journalist. I enjoy his bittersweet poetry and I feel more connected to it because it is in my native language (spanish) and it feels appropriate with the things Im feeling in my life now. I also took some inspiration on the aesthetics and lighting of the Netflix series Luke Cage. They are very colourful shots often representing moods and adding a cinematic feel to it.
